Together for Climate Protection: An Exciting Year

The year 2024 was marked by devastating disasters such as the floods in Spain and the wildfires in the USA. These crises underscore more than ever how crucial it is for all of us to work together. Together, we can make a real contribution to climate protection. What sets us apart? A positive attitude with a touch of calm, plenty of coffee, and a strong motivation to make the world a better place.

A New Chapter: Sarah and Lena in Vienna

Since July 2024, Sarah and I, Lena, have taken over the Vienna office of TeamClimate with great energy and enthusiasm. "We are working passionately on new projects that we will soon share with you. Stay tuned – there are many exciting things coming your way!"

A Brief Look Back: What Happened This Year

The past months have been intense, inspiring, and full of small and big successes. Here's a glimpse into our daily life:

24,400 tons of CO2 were saved through our projects in 2024 – equivalent to the annual emissions of about 5,000 cars.
28 vegetable curries were cooked with lots of love.
Over 100 coffees kept us energized.
2 favorite mugs sadly had to be retired.
5 achievements were joyfully celebrated – with 3 bottles of sparkling wine.
A successful clothing swap party brought the idea of sustainability to our network.
2 guest lectures at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences allowed us to share our knowledge.
2 climate researchers were interviewed by us to gain fascinating insights into current research.
1 interview was given, where we shared our vision.
And last but not least: our reforestation projects have protected 2,600 m² of rainforest.
